The third round of betting is called the showdown. At the showdown, the player with the best hand is the winner. If there is a tie, the pot is split between the two players. The remaining players receive an upturned card. If the tie remains, the dealer passes out a card to break the tie. The player to the left of the dealer is then the new dealer.
A royal straight flush is a hand of five cards of the same suit in sequence. The cards in this hand are Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, and Tens. The straight flush is the highest possible hand in a standard pack.
Four of a kind is the next highest hand. It is made up of three aces, two kings, and two queens. The high card is the ace-queen high. Other examples of four of a kind include four 10s, four 9s, and four kings.
A full house is a hand of three aces and two 6s. A two pair is a hand of two pairs of different ranks. The fifth and sixth cards in a hand are considered to be wild cards. Jokers are sometimes added to a standard 52-card pack.
